Return to running after a two week layoff. Testing my old Decathlon KALENJI RUN 100 8 euro shoes (ok they are 12 euros today).

21:39 for the tour of the park (3.82km) which is about a minute up on my previous best of 22m31s due to less aches and pains in the ankles.

A 5K tour just to get some fresh air. I just did the half tour as I had a train to catch.

Lunch run from work to change from cycling and a bit more efficient. Aim was to run 5k, need to lengthen run a small bit as it is currently 4.9k down to the end of the cycle path. Pace was 5.

New career as a runner! No seriously am doing a bit of running for training for next ski season already.

Trip around the sites of Paris, Opera, Madeleine, Assembly National, Champs Elysees, Arch de Triomphe, Seine, Tuilleries, Louvre etc. Only in Paris.

Rocky style, run up the steps of the Sacre Coeur. Very rare to get me putting my running shoes on but a week in Paris with nothing better to do obliged me. I suffered for the rest of the week.
