A little tour of the cycle lanes of Crolles. Of no real interest unless you find yourself here, with rollerskis, but I've seen a few people do this route.

As it says, out on classic roller skis, those with a ratchet to prevent them rolling backwards. I don't really know the technique and have to admit having some aches and pains the next day.

A long rollerski on a fantastic autumn day. Leaving from Chambery I took the bike lane all the way to the Petit Port at Aix les Bains then back again.

The 4S (seigneurs) summit is a classic for road cyclists and MTBers in the area, short, sharp but quiet roads with a great view.

General DescriptionThe climb is 14% over 5km for 700 meters of climbing. The climb through the village of Montebuglio is very steep but afterwards settles down to 12-13% with a series of steep ramps.

A return to the Pre Long, maybe the hardest climb in the Gresivaudan, and that is just the surfaced bit ! A good time of 25m36s from le Mas Julien to the end of the surfaced road.

This review looks at the southern part of the Espace Diamant ski area in the French Northern Alps. On the day of our visit the northern sector had shut for the season despite good snow cover.
