With the col de Marcieu closing its nordic ski area and le Sappey in poor condition the next nearest nordic ski area is the Beldina / les 7 Laux. It was pretty crowded in the car park, being the last week of the Paris winter holiday and there were quite a lot of people on the slopes (for a cross country ski area). The fresh snow had freshened things up a bit and the pistes were well prepared for skating and classic. I did a couple of loops of the blue then two loops of the longer Beldina piste with its nice 100 meter climb via the Myrtille (first time I've skied the Myrtille).
Good snow on all runs. Sticky in places in the sun. Climbs were okay.
