Alpe Colla to the Monastero St Pietro e Paulo
DescriptionFrom Omegna there is 420 meters of climbing over 6km giving an average grade of 7%. However the section from Germagno to the Alpe Colle is steeper, an average of 11% with ramps around 15%.

Geraldine woke at 6.30; we’d planned to get up an hour earlier. After a cool shower we were on our way at 7.15. Not a moment too soon. It was already warm and humid.

Ste Agnes St Mury commute via the Balcons of the Belledonne
A commute via St Mury. It took a bit of discipline to get up and go at 6.45 given the damp and gray skies. VAM of 817 for the climb. A bit slower than last year when I was riding around 880.

Mont Narcel, Monts d'Or, Lyon
A ride to Mont Narcel, one of the Monts d'Or. For a change I went by St Romain au Mont d'Or and the Thou road with its 8 hairpins. 17 minutes for the climb to the village on 7.

Gravel Biking
I'd arranged to ride into work via St Agnes with my neighbour. But he overslept so I tackled the same route as 2 weeks ago, a small 600 meter climb.

Ste Agnes, Belledonne, France
Climb via Ste Agnes to get a bit of altitude on the road to Grenoble. The climb has some little ramps on it but is mercifully short.

le Frènet
The number of times I've ridden past this little dead end climb I finally decided to see where it goes. In fact the hamlet of le Frènet is quite extensive with some cute chalets etc.

la Marie et cie
A return to the Marie. I managed to screw up the entrance and do a loop and land on my head which left me a bit dazed for a minute or two.

La Marie Singletrack. St Ismier, Gresivaudan, French Alps
From St Ismier, climbed to the Tour d'Arces than past the Pierre Grosse (large rock), continue 500 meters.
