First time out on my rebuilt Spitfire where I didn't get a puncture but at the same time I didn't ride on any gravel.

I wanted to retry this route but in the direction I originally planned via the Col de la Croix de Ban -> Col de Luere -> Col de Malval -> Col de Pars -> Châteauvieux.

DescriptionFrom Omegna there is 420 meters of climbing over 6km giving an average grade of 7%. However the section from Germagno to the Alpe Colle is steeper, an average of 11% with ramps around 15%.

A commute via St Mury. It took  a bit of discipline to get up and go at 6.45 given the damp and gray skies. VAM of 817 for the climb. A bit slower than last year when I was riding around 880.

A ride to Mont Narcel, one of the Monts d'Or. For a change I went by St Romain au Mont d'Or and the Thou road with its 8 hairpins.  17 minutes for the climb to the village on 7.

This route is really best done in the opposite direction to how I tackled it but I didn't have any information about the road surface and the Climbbybike website has a completely erroneous profile for

I'd arranged to ride into work via St Agnes with my neighbour. But he overslept so I tackled the same route as 2 weeks ago, a small 600 meter climb.

Climb via Ste Agnes to get a bit of altitude on the road to Grenoble. The climb has some little ramps on it but is mercifully short.

The number of times I've ridden past this little dead end climb I finally decided to see where it goes. In fact the hamlet of le Frènet is quite extensive with some cute chalets etc.

No ski this weekend so I decided to use a spare hour and a half on Saturday afternoon to ride up and look at the snow conditions on the road to the Col du Coq.
