A snowboarder is in a serious but stable condition after a fall into a pothole while off piste in the ski resort of Flaine in the Haute-Savoie. The incident occured mid-morning on the 29/Jan2019.

The Foulée Blanche (the white stride) is a long distance cross country skiing event organized on the Vercors Plateau at Autrans.

Meteo France has issued an orange avalanche alert for the Eastern and Central Pyrenees where up to a meter to 1.
