A very pleasant little lunch ski. I had my old poles which are not very good as they are a bit knackered. Not ideal on the climbs but that mean using my legs a bit more, not bad for technique.

First time at the Col de Porte this season. Just cruised around the pistes a couple of times. The climbs were quite hard, lack of fitness and steep hills.

I decided to go up to the Col de Porte as I was short of time to classic ski a bit and do some no pole exercises on the stadium area. A bit icy on the steep uphills but generally good.

Our last club training before the 4 week winter break (for school holidays). We concentrated on Skate 2, getting weight over a flat ski and getting more glide with extension.

A relay race, at night, with Nicholas from work. The idea was to complete as many loops as possible in half an hour.

Double lunch loop of the nordic trails on classic. Very pleasant to be out of the valley cloud. Not many people around. Rails were a bit frozen.

Pottering around the Col de Porte seeing what the damage is like from the floods. Well things are open and the skiing wasn't too bad but you can't hoon around the place due to frequent blockages.

Last outing with the ski club before Christmas. There is a lot of snow and it was quite soft and cut up in places. A big change from last week's rain but hard going skiing.
