Last outing with the ski club before Christmas. There is a lot of snow and it was quite soft and cut up in places. A big change from last week's rain but hard going skiing. As it was cold we did quite a bit of general skiing then practised turns and climbing Skate One. Quite hard with my bad ankle as I didn't have a lot of spring in my step. Winter is truly here and conditions should improve with the fine weather forecast.
Heavy snow over the previous days, over a meter. Driving difficult after the entrance to le Sappey.
