Ski-Areas > Massif Central > Haute-Loire (43) > Mézenc > Les Estables
This tiny resort is situated in the Mézenc area of the Haute-Loire department in the Massif Central region Snow cover can be uncertain, during the 2001 season it only opened for a day or two due to lack of snow. However if you fix skins and climb to the summit of the Mezenc on a clear day you have an incredible panorama over all the mountains of France. To the south the Ventoux and the Cévennes and beyond to the Pyrenees, the Volcanoes of the Massif Central, the Rhône valley and the Jura to the Alps.
The lift served area extends from 1350 metres to 1800 metres. There are 10 km of lift served runs serving 9 ski pistes. There are 6 drag lifts and a rope tow. In addition there are 78 km of cross country skiing linked to the Mézenc domain
