The Climber replaces the Atomic MX:8 in Atomic's line-up. The top sheet is in electric blue but the ski keeps the MX:8's relatively large dimensions for a touring ski offering reasonable floatation and stability at speed although it lacks some precision when pushed. The ski uses Tour Cap construction with a high densolite core and carbon top sheet but lacking the carbon beta channels it doesn't have the torsional rigidity of the Atomic Peak. Never the less gives good grip on hard snow and is comfortable in a wide variety of conditions particularly for short and medium radius turns. A good ski for mixed piste/touring use available in a wide choice of lengths.
