The Outbreaker is Atomic's entry level touring ski and one of the cheapest touring skis on the market. It features heavy duty construction to withstand beginner abuse. The torsional flex is soft at the tip and tail but it is stiff lengthwise giving it good grip on hard snow and ice and making it ideal for heavier skiers. It prefers shorter radius turns, works well in difficult snows.
The Outbreaker is the ideal entry model for Alpine Touring. Its narrow geometry and wrap resistant tour cap profile allow for effortless turning even in challenging snow conditions. In terms of its weight this entry level ski is perfectly balances, rounding off an outstanding performance profile.
