I went out for a gravel ride from central Lyon towards the Parc de Miribel-Jonage. I followed the right bank of the Rhône, riding out past Saint-Clair towards Miribel.

Trip out to the lake via the towpaths to swim. Not too cold and very pleasant in the lake. Getting dark early, around 21h ish and you are done.

Because of a tendinitis I wanted a route that was flat. Also my road bike has a bent gear hangar and will have to wait for me to get my straightening tool to fix it.

Short tour of the Manival to please the tot. Very humid weather in the valley but fresh as soon as you climbed a bit.

I've filed this under mountain biking but I was on a road bike with 28mm tires. A bit of gravel in the valley then a longish climb on gravel. This was more or less ok.

Preprandial loop to get a bit of air on what should be (and were)  some dry trails. Quite a few people around. A bit muggy, better close to the river.

A little aperitif ride on the flat along the tow paths of the river. We explored some strange track shown on google earth, a kind of loop.

A long while since I last came this way but I remembered a relatively easy downhill with a fairly easy climb.

Little tour with tot. I didn't feel like too much climbing today so we just did the Manival trail to the cross track.

I wanted a flat trip around near where I live just to get some air but not go far or hard as I sprained my ankle on Sunday.
