Christmas day potter around the Allevard pistes. The Caran main lift was closed so we couldn't access the main bowl. The rest of the open slopes were in good condition.

I'd skied a bit on the sept laux pistes yesterday when I was skitouring and things didn't look that great.

Traditional end of season at les Arcs. We had monster snow fall a week ago but no sign of it now with lots of bare slopes.

We profited from the end of the school holidays to ski all day for 42 euros (weekend price) in calm conditions.

A little blast around the pistes of Allevard. No real queues for the end of the holidays but quite a few kids groups on the slopes so quite busy. The snow is holding up quite well.

Morning ski at les 7 Laux. Snow is good, a bit thin at resort level where they've not used the snow canons. Not too many people on the pistes as a bonus with just 1 short queue at the Oursiere.

Return to St Hilaire du Touvet for a few runs after it had been shut for a couple of years due to lack of snowLargely seemed to be locals up on the plateau des Petites Roches.

A plan so cunning you could stick a tail on it and call it a Renard.
