RoutePark just below the milking sheds at the Madone de Fenestre. Follow the path to the NNE on the left bank of the stream. Do not take the path to the south-east which leads to the 5 Lacs.

Classic ski tour of the West Chartreuse. Attention the Col de Léchaud is very prone to windslab on both sides, note the prevailing winds. There have been a number of fatalities at this spot.

Roc Cornafion, South West bowl
It was snowing in Grenoble at 7 o'clock with low cloud. I decided to change direction from Belledonne to Cornafion. Not much snow at first, when going down there was 10 cm of fresh.

From the Combet parking, follow the road to the Château des Bois. Then take the path on the left towards the northwest which cuts the road. You will quickly reach the Mont Plat (chalet).
