Autumn Pravouta
Too much snow on the road after the Baure car park at around 1220 metres. Quite a bit of wind at the summit. Skiing quite well with drifts of 50-100cm ! It's better in the undergrowth.

Superga via dei Colli, Turin, Italy
Classic Turin Loop. I did it on a hybrid bike hired from Touringbike which was in good condition but heavier than I'm used to. The climb to the Superga is spectacular with views over Turin.

Chantemerle, Chartreuse, French Alps
A difficult back climb, favourite of Jeanne Longpoe back in the day. The appetizer is the Chemin de St Bruno from Haut Meylan. A km of climbing at 12.5%.

Mont Ventoux; Provence; France
The idea was to come down to Avignon for a bit of tourism and to ride the Ventoux. However the forecast was for wind and more wind.
