Description

The Col de l'Arzelier is a small family oriented ski resort situated in the Vercors area of the Isère department. The lift served area extends from 1125 metres to 1600 metres. There are 9 km of lift served runs with one chair lift and four drags. There are 35 km of cross country trails. The downhill area has 2 green pistes, 3 blues a red and a black, night skiing is offered on certain days of the week. The lifts run on weekends and Wednesdays out of season. The area is also popular for its walks and snow shoeing.

Off Piste Routes

The area can be used to tour the many east facing Vercors couloirs. The Deux Soeurs and the Couloirs des Sultanes can be reached directly from the ski area. The others are located above Chateau Bernard.

Travel

Nearest Airport(s): Grenoble St Geoirs, Lyon St-Exupery

Road: Autoroutes A480, A51 direction Sisteron exit Vif 12. Cross the town of Vif and take the first exit at the roundabout on the North end of town. Chains or winter tires recommended for access to the resort.

Rail: Grenoble TGV or St George de Commiers (VIF)
