Afternoon tour with Tot to the Canaple. We were looking for something safe (it was risk 3 > 1600m) and this fits the bill. Great weather and views over the Chartreuse, Belledonne and Oisans mountains from the summit and nice skiing down as long as you didn't go into the deep snow which was heavy.
About 30cm of new snow that remained cold in the shade but was humid in the sun - principally on the descent from the Canaple to the old chair. Good skiing but bumps forming on steeper pitches. The new snow had bridged some streams - don't take you skis off here
