I left a little late, but I wanted to try out the new bike path between Crolles and Tencin. It's very well laid out, but it's currently open to vehicles and seems to be a new alternative route for cars, which have thrown a lot of gravel onto the road. After that, I climbed towards Hurtieres; the pass wasn't too difficult. The road was dry and the air didn't seem too cold, but the average temperature was around 0°C.
Then I should have gone down to Froges via the main road, but I took the secondary road that leads directly to Brignoud. It was freezing, the temperature was -2°C, and I was worried about black ice. There was a lot of frozen water on the side of the road, but in the end, everything went well.
All this to reach 50,000 meters of elevation gain for the year.
Sunny but cold -2 °C on the descent with frost and frozen water.
