After yesterday's hard day I had "heavy legs". It was raining when I left for home so wondered about heading straight back but the weather cleared up and I decided to climb via St Jean le Vieux and the Col du Poya. It wasn't too bad but I was quite slow and had to use my x32 sprocket a lot more than I am used to. I hardly used it the whole of last season but I'm in danger of wearing it out this year. Unfit or under the weather?
Had to take it easy on the descent due to debris on the road.
Showers at start. Wet roads under trees and debris on the descent (stones, leaves washed off fields). Warmish.
