Description
Start on the round-about at the end of the Via
Renco on the NW outskirts of Verbania. Climb to the Alpine village of
Miazinna, Alpe Pala and the war memorial. Road above Miazinna is very
steep. After Miazzina (729m) turn right to Alpe Pala. Road
is steep - 157m over 1.5km climbing. (Restaurant in village). At Alpe Pala (886m). Albergo in village. Continue to Resistance Memorial. Climb to the resistance memorial is very steep, well over 10% (110m over 900m). Water fountain at memorial.
Rode up to the War Memorial above Alpe Pala. I didn't cycle beyond the memorial.
