It had snowed about 20cm overnight, the pistes were a bit slow going, maybe a wax issue but generally in very good condition. However as the morning wore on they had a tendence to mogul up and it was better skiing in the powder which was pretty easy. The vallons was closed due to avalanche risk and some big slides had come down and the wind was being moved onto the north faces but after blasting the Jasse opened and we did a couple of loops, top to bottom, in excellent snow conditions. Probably the best inbounds skiing this season but not our usual piste bashing.
Fresh powder. Upper pistes were closed for avalanche control when we arrived and were not bashed so we had the Jasse in fresh powder as well as other runs. Strong wind from the south.
