A slight change in the programme with a long ride along the river to Albigny sur Saone then a climb on the main road to Poleymieux au Mont d'Or although the short cut via Curis au Mont d'Or was a bad idea (too steep with my 42x24 gears). Quite a few ramps with out of the saddle efforts. I think looped around to the col du Mont Verdun but not very quickly today due to the earlier efforts. Return via the usual descent with a stop to take a photo of the Alps - sadly a bit grainy to post.
