Description

From the Croix de Chamrousse (summit of ski runs) follow the ski slopes east to the entrance of the Casse Rousse couloir (black piste). Climb to the north west to the plateau of the Casse Rousse and traverse around to the north side of pt. 2225. You will find a couloir facing North East with a bridge at mid section. The bridge is part of the via ferrata. The couloir is around 40 degrees over 150 meters.

The couloir is fairly steep with a short crux under the bridge. The exit is marked by a rock outcrop. Generally ski to the left of this. The exit of the couloir can be avalanche prone. Return via the ski lift.
