Vertical Climbed: 260 meters (853 feet)
Rating: 3
Follow the Pierre Grosse trail. At the end of the 33 hairpins take the right fork rather than crossing the torrent on the left. After about 20 meters of descent cross the Corbonne stream. On the other side ignore the trail that follows the right bank of the Corbonne, instead carry on the well made up path to the south, this dips into a hollow then climbs onto a ridge. The path follows the ridge through the woods then turns north-east to rejoin the right bank of the Corbonne. It exits onto a gravel "fire road".
Cross over the Corbonne and on the other side immediately pick up a trail on the other side in the middle of bramble bushes. Follow it for 30 meters then turn right into the wood to follow a set of tight bends. At the end take a trail that follows the contour line.
Comments on route: The trail dries quickly after rain. The upper Corbonne should not be beyond the technical skills of the average mountain biker but there are one of two steps and turns.
