Vertical Climbed: 865 meters (2,838 feet)
Avalanche Risk: -
Snowline: 1,570
I've been ill for the last week so this was a short test to see how things are improving. The last couple of hundred meters were quite hard going. I then decided to try the Pas de Chien, a black piste that is rarely open. It is both steep and fairly exposed. You can see why the resort waits for excellent conditions before letting the punters loose.
I climbed back up to the Oudis and skied down the west face, snow wasn't great, the refreeze wasn't really enough.
