I'd not been out on my bike for a couple of weeks. Despite the long, dry spell the roads are a bit damp and leaf strewn and last time I'd MTBd I had a lot of mud cleaning to do of rider, clothes and bike. I was finally tempted out due to a gammy hip and thought the ride along the valley paths would do me good, it usually does. A lot of walkers out and about in the fine weather and they generally don't like moving out the way for a cyclist. Apart from that a nice winter afternoon ride along the river bank before heading inland for a few small hills. Not feeling on great form at the moment and I've not even started on the Christmas excess yet!
