Short ski tour with tot to get some air not far from home. We climbed up on closed pistes / off piste and skied down on piste. Surprised at how few people were about. Not many cars in either the Pipay or Prapoutel car parks. We only went as far as the col de l'Oursiere as the pistes were a bit narrow for climbing to the summit and they were open to downhill skiers. Conditions are not great at the moment. No skiable off piste below 1600m.
Warm, 11C au parking, slushy man made snow on icy on piste, hard, crusty, rocky, rutted snow off piste. We skied down on piste but maybe not the best idea.
