From the parking at Prabert (pont de la Betta 1336m after March) follow the GR549 trail to the Habert d'Aiguebelle at 1800m. Continue east to the Pas de la Coche (2030 m). At the Pas (post) continue climbing NE to around 2100m via a small valley. Descend NE to 1750 meters to the bottom of the valley. Continue on the right bank to follow a valley straight ahead (north) at the top of the valley climb to the Aigleton by a large circle to the west. At the col ski down the SW then W slopes to the Habert d'Aiguebelle.
Comments on route: The slope on the W side of the Coche is prone to windslab, ditto both sides of the Aigleton. Loop consists of a 1000 meter climb then a 500 meter climb.
Access: Grenoble A41 > Brignoud > Laval > Prabert. Park at 1080 meters (barrier). The road is officially closed to traffic between Dec - Mar.
