Tour near home with Chris who didn't know the Giclard route. We started low to add some vertical. The initial face had very light crust then great snow until the bottom of the Giclard which is now has a lot of brushwood. Rapid climb up to the col des Ayes where there was a large corniche to climb then some of the best skiing from the col back to the car - probably aided a bit by the warm temperatures.
Route Taken: Started from 1000m to take advantage of the good snow.
Weather: Sun with light cloud cover.
Access: Snow after le Baure
Country: France Area: Chartreuse Trailhead: Col Du Coq
