Late afternoon skate at Barioz. I had no idea what was open but saw a skier up on the plateau on the webcam so figured at least the climb was open. In the end there were a few kms up top but obviously the resort is not in a hurry to open up despite reasonable snow conditions. I guess the cost of diesel is a factor. Climb took 33 minutes, not that fast but happy to potter up without stopping. Air was a bit cold and I felt it on my chest later. Not many people about apart from old folk walking on the skate tracks.
