First alpine ski of the season. Absolutely nobody around so we managed to cover quite a bit of ground. Snow was very good except over in the north facing Pre Long bowl, somewhat surprisingly where the cover was thin in places. Good skiing although I was taking it easy following my accident last year.
Chilly, a bit hazy first thing but not too much wind. Roads clear.
