First ski tour of the new season. I took nordic skis. Roads were clear of snow to 1350 meters and the FL was around about this altitude according to the car thermometer. It was just getting light when I started so no need for a frontal but some skaters had lights on. Climb to the Oratoire took 45 minutes, which is not too bad for heavier skis. The road has been bashed. A bit of ice at the bottom of the climb in the usual places but from 1380m the conditions were good.
Very foggy coming out of the forest which didn't motivate me to explore further.
Foggy and a bit chilly but not much wind out of the forest. 5cm of snow on the road at 1400m, perhaps 10-15cm at 1650m
