Felt tired today, still recovering from 'flu so decided to take it easy with a little loop around Mont d'Or. Went to look at the airbase, it is still active with armed soldiers patrolling. Must be some kind of listening post. Quite a few people about despite the showers. According to Strava a PB from St Cyr to Verdun, under 30 minutes for the 8km climb.
It rained before and after my ride. Still warm enough to ride in shorts but a bit of a nip in the air with the clouds and wet. Roads a mix of wet and dry. Nice descent of the Verdun
