A long rollerski on a fantastic autumn day. Leaving from Chambery I took the bike lane all the way to the Petit Port at Aix les Bains then back again. The main issues are catching poles in the gaps in the wooden bridges - you can easily break a rollerski pole. After the Petit Port there is a 50 meter gravel section to get to the Grand Port. Very nice beside the Bourget lake.
Dry except on the wooden footbridges near Chambery. There is a long concrete section between Chambery and the Technolac, not great for points. Also a couple of drains in the underpasses by the technolac. I avoided them by taking a bridge over the Lesse to directly join the northern Airport road. The cycle path at the Chambery end was closed by the cemetery.
