Jackpot, both the climb and descent were closed to motorvehicles (except locals) due to road works but cycles allowed. This made things much calmer. The climb can be very busy at lunchtime as people return home from work. On the minus side the climb was strewn with twigs and leaves almost like a post zombie apocalypse look. VAM over 800, which is better.
