Tot was on snowshoes and me on skins. Amazing how many cars there were parked up, right back past the ski area so over 1km to reach the start of the trails. Luckily we were after lunch so found a space right at the trail head. I'd forgotten my gloves but no worries as it was really warm. The climb up went pretty well on a well made trail, almost a ski piste until the various people split for different objectives.
A quick photo stop at the summit by the cross then the ski down, first in humid powder then we picked up the firm trail about third distance - than heavens for snowshoers! Great skiing for us although it was like a long slalom down to the car park as the easily skiable snow wasn't wide.
Wet powder for the first third of the descent. Afterwards "piste" type conditions due to the number of snowshoers and skiers on the path. Quite warm but with a bit of a southerly breeze at the summit.
