There are a couple of chairlifts, one high speed and four drags. New lifts will be built in 2007 as part of the Val-Cenis extension. The ski area offers fantastic views over the Dent Parrachée, the Gaciers of the Vanoise national park, the Grande Casse and Grand Roc Noir. The best runs are the Grande Combe and Grand Coin in good weather. There is the possiblity of between the piste skiing. The Lac and Sanglier blue runs will appeal to intermediate skiers. There are 40 km of cross country trails between 1300 and 1400 meters altitude so they are pretty much snow sure during the winter and early spring. The trails follow the woods by the river Arc. Nordic skiers and snowshoers can cross into other areas by the Chemin de Petit Bonheur.

Termignon is a traditional Maurienne village with around 400 permanent inhabitants. The ski resort is relatively recent. Permission to develop the ski area was only granted in 1985. There is a project to extend the ski domain into the environmentally sensitive combe de Cléry and link to nearby Val-Cenis. Construction of new lifts is expected to start in 2007.
