Dynafit Mustagh Ata

The Mustagh Ata introduced the ultralight Paulownia wood core to Dynafit's ski range. The ski is relatively fat for float through deep powder. A layer of carbon fibre adds torsional rigidity giving you edge grip on the steeps. We tested these skis last January and although powder was limited they performed well in crud and on hard snow with quick edge to edge transitions for the size. The weight was also acceptable for touring - and so it should be as they were climbed to the top of 7456 m Mustagh Ata in a record 9h25. A total of 3100 meters from base camp.
