Tot was moaning about the ski resorts being closed so I suggested we climb to the top of the ski runs at St Hilaire. Now climbing and walking are not really his thing so what if I took his skis and he just had to walk up, with snowshoes. That sealed the deal. The climb up wasn't too bad, it was a bit further than I thought, 420 meters bottom to top. Pleasant sunshine and a ski down that was appreciated and earned after the climb.
Excellent snow with a few cm of fresh on a firm base, shame the lifts are closed
