After three days of gardening work including a lot of hedge trimming - we were profiting from the rare cooler weather this summer - a trip to stretch the legs direction Col du Coq. The weather was threatening rain so the idea is that you can go up and down to the house easily as the climbing starts from the front door. The rain blew in a bit early as I reached the village of le Baure nothing much but it looked more sustained higher up so a U turn. I'd planned to go to 1200 meters and the winter car park but that was probably good enough for today.
Dry then rain at le Baure - turned round at the exit of the village as I didn't want to descend on wet roads.
