Trip to St Hilaire du Touvet for a bit of ski on a very cloudy day. The snow on piste was ok but off piste it really depended. The Gelinote had not been pisted and was heavy powder but skiable. The Combe was unskiable apart from the track that had been pisted. Very humid powder. Why the difference? Slope aspect? Tree cover? Hard to say. We basically did about 10 laps to rack up a few kms.
Warming, grey weather, cloudy. Soft snow.
