Description

A pleasant after-work outing to rack up a few more meters and a Strava KoM! Note: any good cyclist should be able to climb Mont Cindre in half the time it took me :-). It wasn't too hot, I even put on a jacket for the descent. There were a lot of people and cars at Mont Thou.

I thought I'd escape the incessant roadworks in Gresivaudan by riding Mont d'Or. But no such luck, the road from St Cyr was under construction, among other things.

Conditions

Not too hot. From St Cyr du Mont d'Or, Avenue Pasteur is closed to traffic up to Rue des Villas. It's easy to cycle on, at least after work. There's an alternative route via Chemin des Esses, but it's likely to be very congested with traffic.
