Technical

Minimum altitude: 1,319 meters

Distance: 10.1 km

Slope Aspect: East

Vertical Climbed: 367 meters (1,204 feet)

Vertical Descended: 368 meters

Description

Like this time last year the aim was to go under 30 minutes. Not quite there. About 40 seconds quicker for the top of the climb and 2m30 quicker to the Bergeries.

Segments:

    • Montee Charmant Som (3.63km, 292m) 30m11
    • Chalets de Charmant Som (4.92km) 35m16

Is there any more to give. Well harder snow would be quicker, maybe a bit more freeze/thaw and a bit more effort. My bad ankle was painful on the up and my other boot was painful on the down. No pleasing some people. Wonderful morning light at the summit but not much time to enjoy as work called at 9am.

    Conditions

Trails pisted last night but already walked upon by the local ski zombies. Snow was fresh, easy to ski descending but possible not the fastest conditions for climbing but very safe.
