Description

From Pipay climb to the chalet de Pipay dessus then turn NE to climb to the ridge between the Soleil and Loup drags. Turn south along the ridge, at a kind of col before the Roche Noire ski down the large couloir to the Loups drag lift then reskin to the top of the lift. Return to the same col to ski the West facing slopes back to the chalet de Pipay.

Short trip with Mike to explore some of the 7 Laux off pistes that normally get skied out when the lifts are open.

Conditions

20cm of fresh snow, more in the valleys on a firm base. Generally excellent skiing. Warm in the afternoon sun. No rocks, if you were careful.
