We wanted to ride the single to the Cascade to Craponoz, a huge waterfall behind the house. We climbed via the Champ Bertin as far as the reservoirs behind Beauregard. Lots of trails are blocked to MTBs now - apparently land owners getting fed up with bikes. We then returned to the Croix de Trousset direction le Perimin but were suprised to see the trails behind the Chateau are all barred by huge barb wire fences - it looks like 1914. So descent to Bernin then across the trails behind Crolles as far as the waterfall as a consolation.
Dry, without being dusty, very good riding conditions in terms of grip and not too warm. Quite a lot of walkers as it is Sunday.
