Decathlon have issued a product recall for the Simond 240cm and 280cm ski touring avalanche probes sold from 1st September 2025 to 29 January 2026. Apparently a fault has been identified that can prevent you from deploying the probe and therefore hindering search operations. This is a "hard stop", you shouldn't continue using this probe but return it for a full refund.
