We are very sad to hear of the death of guide and skier Didier Givois after a fall on the Grand pic de la Lauzière last Thursday. Readers will know that Givois was the authors of the famous "Keys" books  detailing off piste routes in the Savoie accompanied by Didier's excellent photographs. The 69 year old guide was descending the Lauzière with a friend when it appears he lost his footing due to a falling rock.
