Description

Return to les 7 Laux. The roads to Chamrousse and Allevard were partially blocked due to the big storm and melt. We knew it would be rammed and so it was, like a Chinese ski resort. We managed to get around as well as we could. Generally good skiing bar a few very icy spots with panicking skiers on them. Some surprising things such as a skier taking of their skis and sliding from top to bottom of the slopes.

Conditions

Icy but some pistes covered in a thick coat of man made snow. Not always easy skiing. Warm, spring like weather. Off piste hard, transformed snow.
