Description

Return to St Hilaire for the first time alpine skiing for 3 season, I think. There was no-one here, maybe 10 people skiing in total. A bit sad for the resort but it was Christmas morning. Generally good skiing but you had to be careful as the snow was a bit soggy off the edge of the pistes and unskiable off piste. We left at 12h30 and they closed the resort due to an oil spill (900 liters, apparently). Not the lifts as they are electric. A lot of police and fire services on site.

Conditions

Generally good but a big soggy with some rain showers. Roads clear.
