Description

Last Sept Laux of the holidays and first of 2026. We skied fairly cool as the snow was pretty hard in places but if you ski from the top of the Oursiere to le Pleynet it is grand. Quite a lot of skiers around this week which make the usual choke points a bit complicated.

Conditions

Snow has noticeably degraded since last week in some places. In others the snow canons have done a good job. There has hardly been a flake of real snow since the end of November so we are skiing on fumes. The Vallons du pra is still officially closed although some people have skied it. There is a lack of snow at the bottom and a 10 minute hike back to the Oursiere lift if you go that route. The Pouta slopes are stone covered, we skied them once. Elsewhere not too bad in terms of rocks but some very icy spots. Quite a few accidents.
